So, I came across this picture while scrolling through plentiful of Google images and this one really got to me.
It's just two captioned pictures put together but the emotional appeal that it puts across is just overwhelming.
(Or maybe it's just me thinking much into it. Haha.)
For some odd reason, I'm into thinking alot today; just thinking; reflecting; predicting; sorting matters out; organising my feelings and thoughts; making right decisions; imagining the consequences.
Trust me, that's alot of mental work required.
They say it's never good to overthink but sometimes, if you know how to work your way around it; it's actually pretty beneficial. Through this process, you really start to think; like actually think of the pros and cons; the good and bad and whatever else that's classified under "others".
"Reflecting on what makes your heart sing is a good place to start."
I try my best not to believe in horoscopes nowadays cause it's syirik but I can't deny that sometimes, just sometimes, they do have interesting and useful bits of advice here and there, such as the above quote.
I don't really know how to explain my interpretation of it but it's always good to do some self-reflection ya knw? With it, we are able to spot our flaws, build up our strengths and work towards being a better version of ourselves. I'd love to be a better person alright.
Well, this was originally intended to be a longer post but I had to make a sudden trip out of the house which consumed much of my time and it's gonna be buka puasa in a few mins!
Sadly, my monthly bestf decided to come an hour before I am able to complete my 15th day of fasting in 2012. Le sigh.
Cannot terawih as a result but I'm hoping le plan to go to Geylang to buy baju raya for bibik is still on! Hoping to bump into le twitter pal @suhailex at Joo Chiat Complex!
Alright, bye for now. Maybe (just maybe), I'll post an update later.
Selamat berbuka semua! (:
