Good Food & Great Company

had a late, hearty lunch with da bff on Wednesday!
the scrumptious, yummy bowl of laksa really helped to cheer me up by a bit after getting back half of my suckish results, ahah. xuan is forever treating me and not letting me pay but little does he knw that i successfully manage to sneak some money into his bag pocket at times, nyehehe. #achievementunlocked

we both drank milk tea with pearls btw!
genius xuan got us the normal-sized straws and thus, we had srs difficulty in sucking  the pearls up the straws HAHA
we looked like srs idiots while attempting to do so
then, one of the workers suddenly came to us with bigger-sized straws and said, "SORRY SORRY!"
HAHAHAHHAHHAHA.
turns out she forgot to give xuan the correct straws when giving him his order at the counter, HAHAHAHAH.
Xuan & I literally spent at least 2-3mins straight laughing out loud xD
it was really embarrassing & hilarious, but it sure helped to make my day :-)

Today was simply dreadful, probably one of the most horrible school days of 2013 so far.
Everything just felt so wrong, I felt so heavy-hearted almost the whole day.

Studied with da bestf @ NLB yet again, he was being extra annoying + playful today but that's what makes him lovable aye =) managed to cram 10 pages worth of info into 2 pages worth of notes, #achievementunlocked. On the other hand, Xuan managed to finish up ard 2 math worksheets, okaylah not bad ah. I was reluctant to go out of the house at first though cause I'm having a serious case of pimple breakouts, ahah. But tak kesah uh, #yolo ah sia 8) It's nice that he didn't poke fun at me cause of my blemishes though, hahahaha js. Well, hey bro, if you see this, the afternoon was well-spent with ya, thanks for the company, luv ya! ;-*

Went to masjid sultan after introducing my mum and xuan to each other, ahah.  Me and my mum did our asar & maghrib prayers there and then went to eat dinner at this coffee shop that we used to eat at all the time whenever we went to NLB back when I was in primary school :""""") Had a hearty dinner of chicken rice, veggies in oyster sauce & tempura prawns but we couldn't finish the prawns so we got it packed, lol. Headed to Esplanade after that to catch the free shows that are held there pretty much everydayyyy. We watched a performance by the "Sharpe Brothers" & another perf called "Jack in the Box Says Hello". THEY WERE BOTH DAMN  ENTERTAINING PERFS OKAY, ESP THE SHARPE BROTHERS, HAHHAHAHA. I videoed abit of the perf! But stupid youtube's not allowing me to upload it, meh. I'll try again next time if I rmb okkk!

Well, all in all, it's been a pretty eventful day. I didn't feel happy throughout but ngeh, I'm getting used to this sadness, trolololol. Dahlah, goodnight everyone. Have a good Sunday~~~

Blogpost title is also the title of the movie I'm about to talk about in this post.
I must say, it's been awhile since I've watched a good and worthwhile movie like the one above ^
I don't just say that about any movie, really.
Humour, coupled with life lessons, are what makes the movie so amazing. It's not only funny at the right times, but it just makes you learn and realize so much. This movie actually teaches you about life, more than school ever will. The emotional part of the movie is mainly exuded in the second half of the show where everything starts to get more serious and intense but that's just the beauty of this movie. The tension didn't escalate too abruptly/impuslively, everything flowed really smoothly in my opinion.
Since MYEs are over and if you're looking for something to watch, put aside roughly 2hrs to watch this amazing movie, I swear you won't regret it :-)

It's been a fine Thursday, mainly because MYEs officially ended for me today! C:

Emath paper 1 was do-able but I know I'll still fail the subject overall, it's just a matter of how badly I am gonna fail it, ahah. Bio paper 1 was much easier than expected, I'm sure I can pass it, just dk how well or how badly though. 

I didn't make any plans to go anywhere after sch tbh, and seeing other people having plans.......I felt really lonely and left out /sobs/. BUT THANK GOD FOR LI CHEN CHEN MY BUDDAY. We finally spent some bonding time tgt by having lunch tgt at LJS @ Clementi Mall! I finally got the chance to explore the place and it's pretty okay I guess! I find it cool how there's a library in the mall, hehehe. We walked around alot and went to PaperMarket & Popular! It was a pretty well-spent afternoon if you ask me (:

Thennnnnnn, xuan met me @ Clementi Mall while Chen headed home :--------) Ended up going back to LJS to accompany wx for lunch since he hadn't eaten and we got some free coupons from some LJS guy handing them out at the escalator area, HAHA. He kept 'force-feeding' me despite the fact that I had already eaten with Chen Chen before that, tsk. I felt so stuffed okay ;__________; And the coupon entitled us to a free upsized drink and a packet of fries, WOOHOO. The drink size was HUUUUUUGE btw.

Went home with xuan after that and it was a great train ride though he kept poking fun at me most of the time and basically, embarrassing me in public. But it's okay, that's what bestfs do to each other :""""""")

Me & Nabs waited for Xuan @ Far East Plaza first while drinking bubbletea that we bought from Sweet Talk and gossiping about someeeeee people, -cough cough-. (;
Xuan met us ard 45mins after we reached the place and then we headed off to Esplanade Library!
We managed to get a seat and we spent ard 2 productive hours there, yay! It was hilarious as to how Xuan had to keep switching btw me & Nabs, helping me with Chem while helping Nabs with Amath. Poor xuannnnn, but thanks anyways darl! It was nice of you to decide to help us out although people usually go and lepak somewhere or go home to laze around on the last day of their exams, HAHA. No, but srsly, thank you so very much for the help -inserts many many hearts-

We chionged to Marina Square and had a student meal each @ Pizza Hut!!
I bought beef lasagne, heheh.

The meal also came with a side and free flow of the drink of your choice! :-------D

We then went to KFC @ Raffles City and camped there for the next 2-3 hours or so to study again, hahaha.

It was very fun siaaaaaa, hahahaha. I managed to do 2 paper 1(s) while out with those 2 today, #notbad sia.

Though I stoned alot most of the time, HAHHAHAHAHA k.

bio paper 2 and core lit paper 2 were surprisingly manageable!! :-----) yayzerssssss.
Considering the fact that I only studied for 4 bio chaps in depth out of the over 15 topics we were supposed to study for.............eheh. Oh well, #YOLO. It really wasn't too bad though, alot of it was common sense to my surprise and by golly, was I HELLA' HAPPAY. 8)
Core Lit paper 2 was a drag though cause I was hung up over The Chrysalids to be bothered about The Crucible but I just gave it all I got and I think it's good enough for a B3, hopefully!
I also think that with abit of luck, I may be able to pass Bio paper 2!! HOPE ONLY AH, HAHA.

Spent quality time with da bff after my papers again today! I've been meeting him so much ermahgad, I hope we don't get sick of each other's presence, HAHAHHA ok just kidding xuan, u knw i luv ya bro. That was after he accompanied me at Outram Park MRT station where I met this blogshop owner to pay her money for a 3-piece set of fisheye lens that I ordered for $20!! I can't wait to get my hands on those babies ^-^~~

He treated me to lunch yet again, forever not letting me pay for my own meals, tsk.
Went to NLB afterwards to do some Bio revision, he accompanied me although his MYEs are offically over already. I've been meeting him almost everyday this whole week except for Thursday which was my official "spend time alone" day and it really helped me clear my thoughts. Who knew spending time alone could be so beneficial in helping you revitalize your soul? No kidding.
Anyways, hey bro, if you see this, thanks for being an amazing bestf, really. We may have became friends by chance but that's what makes this friendship even more special, eh? :--------)
You're one of the best people to have ever entered my life and I truly feel blessed because of that.
