Woke up at 8:30am, showered, changed, rushed out of the house by 9am and subsequently reached HDB Hub (the Bedok branch) by 9:30am. Stayed there for around 2 hours++ because my mum and my two aunts had to settle some housing matters which took up alot of time, meh. I ended up listening to music while reading around 9 more chapters of Paper Towns which I had previously put away when poly started because I was too busy to set aside time to read it. I'm left with another 105 pages before I'll be able to start on another book!!
I felt really sian from reading my book for like an hour++ straight so I went to the toilet to relieve myself and take a mandatory #ootd shot (also because the toilet was so much warmer than the HDB Hub office which is super freaking cold like omg, so I decided to stay in the toilet slightly longer to regain some bodily warmth HAHAHHAHA sounds wacky but it worked!!)
Then, the four of us walked over to the hawker centre near Bedok Interchange where we ordered a bowl of mee soto each from this stall called Inspirasi which has been around for so many donkey years (ever since my mum was in secondary school). Not only is the mee soto absolutely tantalizing but it's also sold at a really cheap price of $2!!! My mum & I never fail to stop by for a bowl of their famous mee soto whenever we're in the Bedok area :-) All of you should go try it out when you can, yeah???
Went back home after going to the bank with my mum to open a new account and apply for an atm card (yes, for myself). I'm starting to feel all grown up already, hahahah okay maybe not but you catch my drift. Deposited my personal savings ($123) into my new bank acc at one go and hopefully, it'll add up to a larger amount in time to come!!!
Headed out of the house after Maghrib to buy some toiletries at Chinatown since stuff there are priced cheaper than at regular supermarkets. Got myself some facial products as usual, in the hopes of being able to make my complexion look more physically appealing but my efforts aren't exactly bearing fruit fast. There's progress but it's minimal so it's a real bummer actually. After running our errands, we walked around Chinatown, on the lookout for cheaply-priced clothings. We made a few purchases and we were soon on our way to Simpang Bedok for a late but much needed dinner (cause my last meal was the mee soto which was at like 12:30pm and by the time we reached Simpang Bedok, it was like around 10pm??? boooooo.)
Had some scrumptious dim sum as appetizer!!
And then, I had roasted chicken noodles for my main course, yum!!!
