[in chronological order]:
1. I was in Langkawi on 1/1/2013 as I had attended a New Years' Eve countdown party @ the resort that my relatives and I stayed at for a couple of days while on holiday there. This is definitely a highlight because apart from this one time, I always spend NYE & New Years' in sunny Singapore. What made it even better was that I got to spend the new year w/ most of my beloved cousins from my maternal side. Thus, it was a pleasant and significant change (-:
2. [1/1/2013] I tried out Starbucks' Peppermint Mocha for the first time. And another first would be having my name written on my Starbucks' drink!!
3. [10/1/2013] I got my O'level Express Malay results and I received an A2 grade. Words can't describe how happy I was to receive a distinction yet be completely heartbroken at the same time for failing to nab an A1 instead. I remember that day to be a real emotional rollercoaster for me.
4. [10/2/2013] The first family outing of the year @ Pasir Ris Park. Had a picnic and a smashing good time (not literally) with one another; cycling, talking, taking pictures, laughing, etc.
5. Another event I remember from sometime around the start of the year that really stood out has gotta be Family Day @ USS on 24/2/2013. I spent 11 hours bonding w/ mainly Nurul and I'm thankful for that (-:
6. [26/2/2013] Went on a learning journey w/ 4S1 to Singapore Discovery Centre for some amazing race challenge, in commemoration of Total Defence Day and in relation to the NE programme.

7. [Sometime in April as well] My last BYD in Crescent (-':
8. Angklung & Kulintang SYC 2013!! ((Can't remember the exact date but it was sometime in April)) We ended up with a Merit award but it's alright, I'm sure C.A.K.E will strive to reach better heights in the future (-:

9. [18/4/2013] CAKE's Sec 4 farewell was a blast! I truly felt like a V.I.P on that day ;-)
10. [14/5/2013] It was midway through the MYEs. On this day, I didn't have to sit for any papers because I had already dropped AMath. Thus, I met up with my best friends after their morning papers, to study with them all the way till late afternoon. Oh, and that was the first time both my best friends met each other as I introduced them to each other on that day itself! What made me feel really happy is how well all of us clicked together although they just got to know each other. #blessed
11. [10/6/2013] Was @ KL for a 3D 2N trip w/ my mum and her friends. I bonded quite alot w/ my mum over the course of the short vacation, definitely a happy event to be remembered (-:

12. [15/6/2013] I got approached by a representative of an actual model agency. I wouldn't say this is a happy event or a highlight but it's just something memorable as I never thought that in a million years, I would be scouted on the streets, HAHAHAHA but I took it as a joke cause I know that I'm not model material.
13. [21/6/2013] Nabilah's 16th birthday surprise!! We spent the day @ Vivo, watched Now You See Me and treated her to Ben & Jerry's ice cream as well as a really pretty and limited edition iPhone cover!

14. [24/6/2013] I went out w/ Xuan on this day, no special occasion whatsover but I remember the day to be really fun as we laughed exceptionally ALOT that very day. I also remember feeling truly happy that day, it felt amazing. (-:

15. [26/6/2013] June holiday outing w/ Nabilah & Wei Xuan!!
we studied at marina square's macs, ate gelato (3 for $7) & yolo-ed by buying cup noodles & drinks from 7-eleven and carried them all the way to fort canning park and had our cheap lunch there, hahaha 😂 we ended off our day by playing fun run with one another, hehe ☺
16. [13/7/2013] I was super shocked & surprised when Xuan braided my hair for the first time. I was like (to Xuan), "Am I the girl or are you the girl? Cause I'm a girl and I don't know how to braid hair but you're a guy and you do. I'm an embarrassment to the female race ): " HAHAHAHHA.
17. [16/7/2013] Xuan met me at the bus stop near my school and rode bus 51 home together with me (-: We read TFIOS together on the bus but not before snapping a few pictures together!

18. [20/7/2013] HE WEI XUAN TURNED 16 ON THIS DAY!! I was supposed to spend Xuan's entire birthday with him but sadly, I had to go to Malaysia last minute. Thus, I could only spare 2 hours with him which made me very sad :'-( But, I'm glad he liked the scrapbook I made him! It took me a looooooooot of effort to get it done, js :b

19. [26/7/2013] Finally attended CrezAwards in my 4 years of being in Crescent. I was lucky to have had the company of amazing friends (-:

20. [from late July/early August till sometime in October] I studied at the study room at Kampong Ubi CC w/ Xuan almost everyday. I feel blessed to have had his company during the period of time (-: Apart from that, Xuan, Nabs & I also had group study dates @ my house, here and there within the same time frame.

21. [7/8/2013] Had a great last NDP celebration in Crescent and spent the afternoon w/ Xuan, yay (-:
22. [8/8/2013 - 10/8/2013] Eid Mubarak/ Hari Raya 2013!! I felt really happy that I had a really pretty outfit for the 1st day of raya, probably the best one I've ever had (-:

23. [28/8/2013] DPA results came out on this day and I was accepted into Ngee Ann Poly's Mass Communications course!! It was a huge relief because to make sure that I really get my place, all I need for O's is not more than 26 points. But of course, I'm not aiming for 26 points; I hope I get not more than 15 (: It's nice though, to have a sense of security that there's a reserved spot for me in the course of my choice.
24. [5/9/2013] There was no special event that took place, however, I distinctly remember being oddly hyper on that night. It was all thanks to a particular song I listened to on repeat: 'jumpstart' by these kids wear crowns! Gotta say, that was one of the few nights I felt truly happy and carefree. I long to have that feeling all day, everyday.
25. [4/10/2013] The day I graduated from Crescent, the day I realized that despite the many painful & bitter memories I've gathered from being in this school, I'll miss it and the people I've met there, quite alot as being in this school has taught me alot about anything and everything.
26. [1/1/2013] Celebrated my birthday w/ my parents & my best friends @ Royal Scotts Hotel (-:
27. [17/11/2013] Spent the day @ Malaysia w/ Xuan and my parents!! It was really fun, hehehe.
28. [18/11/2013] GRAD NITE!!!!! Everyone looked super pretty & gorgeous and I must admit, the night did feel magical. It's like the night where the entire Sec 4 batch blossomed into ladies (-;

29. [19/11/2013] Xuan showed up at my house while I was still sleeping and I got a shock when he woke me up early in the morning. He rushed me to go and bathe and get ready and then he dragged me out of the house (not literally, aha). Apparently, he had a belated birthday surprise in store for me and to get this done, he enlisted the help of Khairunnisa (my sec 3 junior), Farhana (my closest friend in Crescent) and Jie Hui (my best buddy in Crescent). I had a blast that day walking around Botanic Gardens, eating @ Pastamania & bowling with them (-: Thank you for the effort my dearest friends ♡♡♡

30. [20/11/2013] Was supposed to go out w/ both Xuan & Nabs but Nabs had a last minute, urgent family matter to attend to so it ended up being just me & Xuan. Nevertheless, we had a splendid time together and I finally got to pay for lunch for once!! Treated Xuan to Swensens and we watched 'Three Peas in a Pod' @ GV Marina (-:
31. [26/11/2013] Finally went to Henderson Waves!! I've been longing to visit that place as well as snap photos there and thankfully, I finally got my wish thanks to Xuan. We also watched The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on that day! It was a really great day ♡

33. [16/12/2013 - 20/12/2013] Went to Medan w/ most of my cousins from the maternal side & their parents. My parents didn't tag along because they couldn't take leave on those days. I had a superb 5 days there and I truly miss Medan alot. I felt carefree and away from the hustle and bustle of city life here in SG. The people there are also really friendly. All in all, I felt really happy there. (-:

36. [28/12/2013] Syah came to find me while I was bowling w/ the maternal fam @ Ehub's Orchid Bowl. He came to pass me the souvenirs he got me from Japan & Bandung (thanks syah!!) Oh, and after 4 years, we finally have a picture together (-:
37. [28/12/2013 - 30/12/2013] 3D 2N family chalet @ Aloha Loyang!! I had a splendid time with my cousins from the maternal fam and we bonded alot alot alot. My favourite moment has got to be the last night whereby we started talking h2h and sharing our innermost feelings and just being there for one another by giving advice and whatnot. It felt so surreal but I felt so blessed by their company. To add on, bowling, swimming, playing games and BBQ-ing made the short staycation even better ^_____^
Oh, and I made two new friends while I was there! Hehe.
They may look alike but they were actually 2 different kittens; took me awhile to realize that!

So yeah, that's pretty much the main highlights & happy events of my life in 2013! The year was a rough one, in fact, it wasn't smooth 3/4 of the time but I've learnt alot this year. I've lost alot as well but I guess that's just life; you win some, you lose some. This year, I haven't been the best person I can be and I honestly feel bitter about it. In the year 2014, I truly hope that I'll become a better person in all aspects, that's the main resolution I have. I'm also gonna learn to fully let go of alot of things & certain people when 2014 approaches (which is in a couple of hours). And I wanna excel in poly, I really do. It's my time to shine in my academics after living in people's shadows while in secondary school. I also hope that the friends I've gained this year and/or become closer to are the people who will continue to stick with me in the coming year and for as long as possible.
Thank you for both the sweet & bitter memories 2013.
2014, I don't know what you have in store for me but I'm ready to make things work.

On a side note, I've finally finished this super long blogpost after getting started on it yesterday afternoon all the way till today afternoon, hooray! (-:
I can see my procrastination slowly dying down, bit by bit though, not as fast as you might think, HAHA.
